Trainer Donna and partner Kirt with their Cane Corso HazelKent County K-Nine is a beautiful countryside Dog Boarding and Dog Training Facility. Our acreage is surrounded by the peace and tranquility of rich Kent County farming fields, tall mature trees and open grass areas. Kent County K-Nine Boarding Kennels offer premium dog care for your pet. Our training classes provide an environment that is conducive to learning for all who attend our training facility. We specialize in Large and Extra Large Dog Breeds, but we welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds.

We provide personalized boarding care for your dog while you are away. Whether your dog is a senior or young pup, a loner or a social butterfly, low energy or high energy, we cater to the special needs of all our canine guests. Our kennels are spacious, modern and eco friendly. We have central air in the summer, the kennels are heated in the winter and we have a 24 hour emergency back up generator. All dogs receive the same love and attention we give our own dogs!

We have two vets available to us for emergency services for all our boarders, Leamington Animal Hospital, home to Dr. Steve and Dr. Kate who care for our own dogs, and Merrit Animal Hospital in Chatham.

Training area includes working in the beautiful Walnut Grove. Our dog training facility features spacious outdoor grassy areas and a large indoor building for training classes, which allows us to train rain or shine. We focus on strengthening the bond between you and your dog, and developing proper communication from handler to dog. Our goal is to make life with your dog easier and more rewarding.

Training for a dog begins at birth. The mother is a pup's first trainer. She controls when her pups eat and for how long. She controls how far they can roam away from her. She controls their barking and their play. A puppy den is a safe, fun and nurturing environment where pups don't worry or stress about what they're allowed to do and not allowed to do. They have a clear understanding of mom's rules and follow them. Do you have the same calm, controlled, happy environment in your home?
